Day 15 of 302 September 2026

That first post

That first LinkedIn post you ever do is the worst.

Not because it’s bad, but because of all the overthinking and regret and staring at the like counter and wondering a million things like, “who at work is going to see this” and “they must think I’m applying”.

And I’m here to say: good job.

That was the hardest part. Now it’s all uphill from here. Keep on sharing your thoughts and what you are interested in or inspired by — or simply your stories. Because we need more of that in this world.

Kudos to you if you recently posted out of the blue.

I still remember my first post like it was yesterday. I wrote something I thought was profound, and seven people and a family member saw it and liked it.

I wouldn’t trade the connections and friendships and incredible network that I have via LinkedIn now for the world. Keep it up and you’ll see what I mean.
