100 questions

For anyone writing along. Pick what you’d answer, and go write it.

How this works

These started as interview prompts from my ghostwriting days — questions I would ask someone to get them past the version of themselves they had already rehearsed. They work the same way when you turn them on yourself. If you are writing along with the microblogging thirty days challenge and the page is blank, this is a good way to get out of writer’s block.

  1. 01Open a category and read down it until one of them snags on something.
  2. 02Answer it honestly, in your head, before you decide whether the answer is any good.
  3. 03Write from there. Open the question for three sharper follow-ons whenever it stalls.

Say something back.
